You don't need a car to enjoy a break in Kildare. The Silken Thomas is in the centre of Kildare Town, minutes from the train station and less than a 10-minute walk from Kildare Village. Arrive by train or coach, walk to the shops, the cathedral and the heritage centre, and use a taxi for anything further afield.
Getting here by train
